Welcome to the fourth-annual Australia - NZ wide Torah Championship!

Get ready for the opportunity of a lifetime.
With the JewQ program, your child will master the building blocks of your Jewish heritage while competing with Jewish children from across Australia and NZ.

A weekly short zoom session will allow the children to get to know each other, play games / do craft and expand their learning in a fun interactive way.

In their free time they will learn, play review games, and take 3 short online assessment tests.

Support and assistance will be available throughout each week via an NZ English - Hebrew tutor.

Any child that scores an average of at least 70% on all three tests, will qualify to join the national championship, to compete for a JewQ medal and enjoy a grand trip!

The highest scoring champion will be awarded a round trip ticket to New York City and be Aus & NZ representative at the International JewQ Torah Championship!

Details in short:

* JewQ is for children Grades 3 through 7 and will run from May – September, 2024.

* Each grade has specific information to learn from the Living Jewish Handbook.

* Each child will be given 3 online tests throughout the learning periods, to keep them motivated and ascertain their level.

* There are a few easy and fascinating short pages of information to learn from each week. Each child will master this information each week by learning and using the JewQ many free online games. The games help study and revise each learning section.

•Each child who passes their test by 70 % or more, will get a prize sent to their home.

* Those who score an average of 70% through all 3 tests will join an exciting grand trip.

* The child with the top final score throughout Australia & Nz will win a grand prize of a round trip ticket to New York City and be Australia & New Zealand representative at the International JewQ Torah Championship!

The hardcover Living Jewish Handbook is $25. (subsidized rate) It is the same book for all grade levels.
